Rapper Prodigy of Mobb Deep, who is finishing a three-year sentence, received a book deal. The book will be titled My Infamous Life: The Autobiography of Mobb Deep's Prodigy. As the title entails, the book will be about Prodigy's life; when he was growing up, his career, and the time he spent in behind bars. The book is co-written with Laura Checkoway and will be published by Simon and Schuster. Prodigy is scheduled to be released in February 2011 and the book is set to hit shelves April 19, 2011.
