Donate-A-Dollah' Campaign

The National Museum of Hip Hop (NMoH) recently launched their 'Donate-A-Dollah' (D-A-D) campaign. The campaign is to help them get a permanent physical location for the museum. Here is what Craig Wilson, President & CEO had to say about the campaign:

Now, it is important to understand that the D-A-D campaign is not simply about raising funds.  There is an underlying premise behind the Donate-A-Dollah campaign which is: We don’t have to sacrifice a lot individually when we are willing to come together as ONE. The number ONE holds great significance within this campaign. We will all come together as ONE, and donate ONE, so that we can show the power of every ONE within our global hip-hop culture.
In addition to the simplistic, yet cool, nature of this campaign, there are other reasons why EVERY SINGLE citizen of hip-hop should donate their dollar.  (Click on any link for more information)
  1. Dude, its only 1 dollar!!!
  2. Us versus Them
  3. Who’s really the Dopest?
  4. The Power of One

There is also another reason that you should donate as soon as you can. The first 1,000,000 CITIZENS to donate will get their name enshrined on the walls of the museum's NYC Facility.
If you can help them out, donate. Your name could be on a wall forever. How many of us can actually say that we have that right now? Anyone? Anyone? He gave you plenty of reasons why you should. If you cannot donate, spread the word to others who can. We can all do something for hip hop here.

The video below is called 'The Conductor' and is the first of many in a series of short films for the campaign:
