New York's P.S. 22 Covers Hip Hop

For all those parents who think that Hip Hop music is not for kids. Think again! The chorus from P.S. 22 were the center of attention at last night's Academy Awards. Read more via xxlmag.com:


Last night (February 27) during the 83rd annual Academy Awards the world was officially introduced to kids of the P.S. 22 Chorus from Staten Island, N.Y. Still, these youngsters are no strangers to fame. After all, they can count Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Common and Queen Latifah as fans. And, with YouTube videos of their performances pulling in around 28 million views, these fifth graders are bonafide Web superstars. With guidance from their chorus teacher, Gregg Breinberg, a.k.a Mr. B, P.S. 22 has covered a range of music from Lady Gaga to Katy Perry.
